I recently have had a few conversations with people that really weren’t sure what copywriting was. They thought of it as one piece of writing, such as a blog, but not all the different areas that it covers.
Copywriting covers a lot of different areas. It depends on the writer what expertise they have but some of the areas include:
- Blogs/Articles
- White papers
- Web/Landing pages
- Sales pages
- Follow up messages
- Sales funnels
- Marketing copy
- Ads
- Social Media posts
There are so many areas that you can get support in when it comes to writing. I have found over the years that my clients fall into one of these categories:
- They love to write but don’t know how to get their message across
- They hate to write
- They love to write but just don’t have time
That is where I come in. I take the time to learn my client’s voice and business so I can write for them in the way they need and so that it isn’t obvious that it was not written by them.
I love writing and keep up on my skills daily. I know the marketing aspect of the business world as well so I can help direct my clients in that way as well so they know what will work best for their product or service and how much copy they actually need.
This may seem crazy to some people but if I know that a client is asking me to write something they don’t need I will tell them that. I am all about the success of my clients. I want them to do well, I want them to succeed in getting their message out and having a return on that message in whatever way they are looking for.
If you are struggling with your message, not sure what avenues you should be focused on, would like a second set of eyes on your existing copy or need anything new, just reach out. I would love to have a call with you to go over what you are looking for and how I can help.
I also have a number of resources since I have been in business for over 15 years so I can direct you to others that may be able to help in ways I don’t offer or in additional ways that may come up in our conversation.
